Description

1. Animals have tails, man does not have a tail.
2. [The beast] is swishing its tail to drive away flies.
3. He cut off [the beast's] tail.

Of mammals (not birds, fish, snakes, etc.). Generic term, applied to as many different species as possible. Not to be confused with possible narrow terms, such as ‘small tail as of a goatling’ etc. (Kassian et al. 2010)
