Comment: From Proto-Celtic *krumbo- 'round, curved' and thus no perfect cognate with Middle Breton crenn, ModBr. krenn from Proto Celtic *krundi- 'round, compact'. According to Matasović *krundi- could originate from *krum-di- and thus possesses a different suffix. Both *krundi- and *krumbo- may be loanwords from some non-IE language.
